Pear Mountain
$7.50
Many oolong drinkers consider Pear Mountain (Li Shan) to be the premier gao shan (high mountain) growing region in Taiwan. This is evident by the abundance of its availability online and the bad poetry dedicated to it.
With this in mind, we took our time to find the right tea to offer and it's a beauty. This Li Shan lives up to its name with notes of White Rabbit candy, gardenia and blue green algae. A few cups in and you too might be ready to add a cringe worthy verse or two, even blurting out something like, "I can't quit you".

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
- Gong Fu - This tea works great in both porcelain and semi porous vessels. Since it is ball rolled, we recommend filling less than a third of the vessel with dry leaf. Grandpa style is a great option for this tea too.
- Western - Use 1 heaping teaspoon per 8 oz of water. Add 195F water and steep for 4-6 minutes. Can be re-steeped a second time, adding 2-3 minutes to the original steep time.
