Hand Hammered Pewter Teapot
Based off a classic design common in the 19th century, this vintage mid 20th century Japanese pewter teapot veers from its forebearers by allowing for a collapsible handle and a built in filter (which makes drinking tea with it a breeze). It has also been hand hammered for good measure.
It bears the marks of two Kamons, perhaps signaling this teapot as a symbol of the merging between two families. There is also the craftsman's four character mark on the base.
