Bardo Object 01 - ZUO

An object for sitting in all forms; tea, meditation, nature or gathering.

Created in collaboration with Peace Cabin, Daniel & Angela, a creative duo and life partners, making all goods in SE Pennsylvania since 2020.

The cushions draw inspiration from the teashop, along with patchwork forms and colors of Gottfried Böhm's St. Matthäus Church, combined with the graphic energy of 90s New York rave flyers.  

Premium cottons and Japanese denims form the upper part of the cushion, with PFAS-free corduroy nylon underneath for durability and water resistance.  Each cushion is filed with biodegradable kapok fiber from the ceiba tree.

Made for the Bardo tatami room and available in limited quantities for purchase.
