Bae Bae - 2025 Bai Mu Dan
$7.50
Bae Bae embodies the evolution of white tea processing. While arguably the spirit of what makes white tea remains, this tea tastes nothing like a white peony made by traditional methods.
Made by Mr. Hui and his team, this tea is made with a high bud to leaf ratio, so much so, that Mr. Hui gave this top grade bai mu dan the name "needle fragrance mu dan".
After a shortened withering process, this tea was then dried down in ovens (preventing the leaf from oxidizing), creating a swoon worthy bai mu dan, that might change your mind about new white tea. Notes of honeysuckle, snap pea and sweetgrass.

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
- Gong Fu - This tea works great in both porcelain and semi porous vessels. Since it is unrolled tea leaf and buds and doesn't pack well, we recommend filling a third to half of the vessel with dry leaf.
- Western - Use 1 heaping teaspoon per 8 oz of water. Add 212F water and steep for 3 minutes. Can be re-steeped a second time, adding 1-2 minutes to the original steep time.
