Old Faithful - 2015 Bai Mu Dan
$11.00
Spend a few minutes around anyone involved with white tea in China and you are bound to hear the ubiquitous saying, "one year tea, three years medicine, seven years treasure". If ever a poster was made with this saying, you'd have a hard time finding a better candidate suited to have its photo included than this tea.
Poster child worthy, Old Faithful comes at you on two fronts. Notes of fig, daffodil and oak barrel, along with some familiar aged flavors accompanies the drinker through a dizzying number of steeps, while the qi sneaks in through the backdoor and begins to take ahold within a few cups.

BREWING INSTRUCTIONS
- Gong Fu - This tea works great in both porcelain and semi porous vessels. Since it is unrolled tea leaf and buds and doesn't pack well, we recommend filling a third to half of the vessel with dry leaf.
- Western - Use 1 heaping teaspoon per 8 oz of water. Add 212F water and steep for 4-6 minutes. Can be re-steeped a second time, adding 2-3 minutes to the original steep time.
