A classic accompaniment for preparing tea. This early Showa Period copper water vessel was designed to hold 128 oz of water, so one did not have to return too quickly to the water source as their tea kettle began to run dry.
Beautifully stamped with a decorative spring blossom motif, along with the Inyo on the lid. Craftsman stamp located on the base.
